The practice was founded by Frank Chazya Chileshe in Kitwe thirty one years ago after having worked for Minetech Services Limited (a multi-Discipline Consultancy firm in Lusaka). Its registered office is based in Kitwe with scope of work covering the whole country. A branch office has been opened in Lusaka.
Chazya Chileshe and Associates Limited recently instituted its internal re-organisation to enhance optimum corporate operational capabilities through upgrading into a private limited company at the patents and company registry office of Zambia.
The practice has handled over 350 projects since its inception and the technical staff has a combined total experience of 90 years. The type of projects handled have varied in range from offices, schools, executive residences, housing estates and resettlement schemes, warehouses, workshops, shopping malls, hospitals, motor show rooms, hotels and lodges and rehabilitation works.
Chazya Chileshe & Associates Limited is registered with the Zambia Institute of Architects as stipulated under the ZIA Act – Cap 442 of the Laws of Zambia. It is also registered under the Zambia Institute of Estate Agents Act (Act. No 21 of 2000).
Mr. Dickson Bwalya of Lisulo and Bwalya Architects who is a qualified Architect
and highly experienced consultant in the building industry. He is also a past president of the Zambia Institute of Architects (ZIA) and served on the ZIA council for many years.
